Refund Policy

Plain answer:if SnapReady doesn't work for you, email support@snapready.app within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No questions, no forms, no negotiation. After 14 days, refunds are case-by-case and we lean generous.

1. The 14-day window

You have 14 calendar days from the date of purchase to request a full refund for any reason. You do not need to explain why. Email support@snapready.app from the email address on your license, include your order number or license key if you have it handy (not required — we can look it up), and we will process the refund within 3 business days.

2. How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. The refund goes back to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear in your account after we process it. We have no control over your bank's processing time.

Sales tax or VAT collected at checkout is refunded along with the purchase price. If Lemon Squeezy cannot reverse the tax portion automatically, we will cover the difference ourselves so you receive a complete refund.

3. After the 14-day window

After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion, but we lean generous. Situations where we will typically still issue a refund:

  • A bug prevents you from using a core feature, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time.
  • A macOS update breaks SnapReady and we have not released a compatible version within 30 days.
  • You were charged twice or for the wrong tier due to a checkout error.

Situations where we will typically decline a refund:

  • The request comes many months after purchase with no prior contact about issues.
  • You have used the app extensively and are requesting a refund after completing paid client work with it.

When in doubt, email us. We would rather refund a borderline case than leave a customer unhappy.

4. What happens to your license after a refund

Once a refund is processed, your license key is revoked. The app will return to free-tier behavior (3 exports/day, watermark, 1x resolution) the next time it performs a license validation check. You do not need to uninstall the app — the free tier remains available.

5. Upgrades (Solo to Pro)

If you purchased a Solo license and later upgraded to Pro by paying the $10 difference, a refund within the 14-day window of the upgrade will reverse the upgrade and return your license to Solo. A refund of the original Solo purchase (if still within 14 days of that purchase) will revoke the entire license, including the Pro upgrade, and refund both amounts.

6. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us first, we may not be able to respond in time to avoid a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us a fee and trigger an automatic license revocation. If you contact us first, we can resolve it faster, with no fee, and with a better outcome for both sides.
